Distractions Rob the Brain of Deeper Thinking

Once distracted, it can take the brain 20-25 minutes to reengage with a task. Be proactive in minimizing the distractions in your environment. Identify common distractors (i.e., phone, email notifications, background noise, etc.) and intentionally remove them from your environment before starting a task.
