Breaking Through the Brain Fog: Online Research Study

Are you a recent breast cancer survivor?

Have you noticed changes in your thinking since undergoing chemotherapy? Are you motivated to improve your cognitive performance? This 6-month study will investigate the benefits of brain health training in breast cancer survivors with cognitive concerns post-chemotherapy. Study can be completed online, from the comfort of your own space. Participants will be reimbursed for their time.

What will you do?

Who is Eligible?

  • Female breast cancer survivors (ages 30-80)
  • Completed chemo more than 6 months ago, but less than 5 years
  • English-speaking with access to internet
  • Other criteria may apply
  • BrainHealth Project participants are not eligible

What is involved?

Participants will complete online assessments at 3 times over 6 months (Month 0, 3, 6).
During the first 3 months of the study, participants will be randomized into one of three online training programs to support cognitive function; training will end after the first 3 months. Group assignment will not be disclosed. The third online assessment (Month 6) will measure maintained gains since ending training. There will be a (optional) study debrief with coordinator at the end of the study.
