Center for BrainHealth, UT Dallas to Host Educational Events on Brain Breaks, Gains

Overview
A recent national survey conducted by the Center for BrainHealth reveals that while 90% of people recognize the brain’s capacity for improvement, nearly 75% are unaware of actionable steps to achieve brain gains. An international initiative to raise awareness of brain health science, the third annual BrainHealth Week will be the biggest one yet, offering a series of events to promote brain health awareness and proactive engagement. The week kicks off on February 24 with the unveiling of a Brain Recharge Station, a new installation within The University of Texas at Dallas' Eugene McDermott Library. Designed by award winning architecture firm Perkins&Will, this space encourages students to unplug, slow down and feel their brain battery being recharged. Additional highlights include events exploring the connection between art and brain health, a landmark conference focused on the latest research into women's brain health and the 2025 Brain³ Summit, an invitation-only gathering of leaders and changemakers seeking ways to implement brain-healthy practices and policies in communities throughout North Texas – and beyond.Families with children of all ages are welcome to register to attend the grand finale of the week – BrainHealth Week Family Fair, featuring a brain-themed treasure hunt, interactive STEM activities, an inspiring storytime and talks on creativity, resilience, and brain-building for kids and families.Read the full article in the Dallas Morning NewsPlease note that access to the above article requires a subscription.
