About the Talk
As principal investigator for UTD's Speech Neuroscience Lab, Dr. Behroozmand conducts research into the neuroscience of speech production and sensorimotor control with focus on identifying behavioral, neurophysiological, and neuroimaging biomarkers of speech disorders in neurological conditions including Parkinson's and post-stroke aphasia. His lab seeks to advance translational research for the development of novel clinical interventions for the treatment of speech motor disorders in patients with neurological conditions.
