The primary focus of an internship is educational in nature. Any future openings will be listed on this site. Researchers often have intern opportunities available to students, particularly in the summer.

Pictured is our 2024 class of Todd Platt BrainHealth Scholars. The program is named for Todd Platt, recipient of BrainHealth’s 2023 Legacy Award.
The BrainHealth Scholars Program is an in-person educational internship in Dallas, Texas. Undergraduate and graduate students from all colleges, universities and any field of study are eligible to apply.
Over four weeks, scholars explore the importance of brain health and learn underlying science and everyday brain-healthy practices. They also have the opportunity to work collaboratively on a team project. The summer program culminates in a team presentation, after which scholars who attended all sessions are awarded a $1,000 stipend.
The 2025 Todd Platt BrainHealth Scholar program will once again be made possible thanks to a generous gift from Candy and Ike Brown.
Important Dates for the 2025 Application
- Applications will be accepted February 24 – March 14, 2025.
- If selected, virtual interviews will be the week of March 24-28, 2025.
- All applicants will be notified of our decisions by April 7, 2025.
- Program runs June 3-26, 2025.
We were blown away by the energy, intelligence, innovation and dedication of the BrainHealth Scholars. The experience underscored how critical a robust internship program is to prepare and inspire future generations in this new field of brain health.
