Alfred Abundo, CPA, CGMA
Director of Finance
Al Abundo is a certified public accountant and a chartered global management accountant. He earned his master of science in accounting and information management from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2009 while working as the Center BrainHealth®’s accountant.
From 2010 through 2013 Al worked as the state accountant and systems administration accountant for the finance department of the university. He came back to the Center for BrainHealth in 2013 to lead the accounting and human resources team. In 2019, he was appointed to be part of the executive team. Before joining the Center for BrainHealth, he completed his MBA and bachelor of fine arts in industrial design. Al's prior work experience included product design, graphic design and marketing.
