Listening to expert speakers on a vast array of topics has brought new insights for brain-healthy living to many thousands more. And through their generosity, our committed donors have enabled the transformational impact of bringing BrainHealth to underserved communities. It is my privilege to tell these stories.
A trusted partner of senior management, Stephanie Hoefken brings more than 20 years of experience in creating and managing strategic, integrated communications programs aligned with business objectives.
She is a builder and protector of brands at every stage of product and corporate lifecycle, specializing in nonprofit, business-to-business and health communications.
Prior to joining the Center for BrainHealth®, she spent 20 years in progressively senior roles with the public relations arm of The Richards Group, then the largest independent branding agency in the U.S. There, she led strategy and day-to-day activities on multiple accounts both national and regional, overseeing cross-functional teams with P&L responsibility. 
Previously, she led communications for the National Mining, Oil and Energy Association of Peru, an industry association representing the vast majority of companies dedicated to exploration, production, refining and exporting, as well as other services related to the sector.
She received her BA in international relations from Pomona College. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and fluent in French and Italian.
