Tom Leppert's record of accomplishment includes high-profile leadership positions in both the private and public sector.
As Mayor of Dallas (2007-2011), he aggressively pursued policies to dramatically improve quality of life in Dallas, including public safety, economic development, education and the environment. Widely recognized for instilling a professional, supportive and business-focused approach, Leppert also directed a major reform of ethics standards and practices and successfully led two major referendums. He served on the Executive Committee of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
Leppert is a former CEO of large companies in multiple industries, including Castle and Cooke Properties, Pacific Century Financial Corporation and Bank of Hawaii, Turner Construction and Kaplan. He is an experienced board member, serving as non-executive chair, in multiple industries, public and private companies and internationally.
He has also led major strategic initiatives for corporate clients, managed large international companies as CEO in a range of industries and served as a White House Fellow.
