Early adolescence is an optimal time to enhance learning, but many educators do not have the benefit of scientific methods that foster these skills.
Strategic Memory Advanced Reasoning Training (SMART) for Educators empowers teachers to support middle and high school students, merging positive-growth mindset with instruction, experience and practice with higher order thinking skills. Through short videos and journal activities, students explore and record their metacognitive progress and strengthen self-regulation by planning, monitoring and evaluating their own mental work. To date, this initiative has reached 100K+ in Texas and four other states.
