On January 25, 2022, the Center for BrainHealth® will honor Thomas C. Leppert with its annual Legacy Award during a dinner at the Dallas Country Club. The prestigious Legacy Award is given each year to individuals whose unwavering passion and dedication enable the Center for BrainHealth to empower people to unlock their brain potential. Tom serves as a co-leader for The BrainHealth® Project, a landmark program championing equitable and widespread access to better brain health, which is critical for our future as the driver of human progress and wellbeing. Backed by the world's leading brain health experts, The BrainHealth Project provides an online, science-backed toolkit to build brain fitness and track improvement, with the goal of achieving for brain health what has already been done for heart health.

In the past 30 years, Tom has led major national and international corporations in the areas of construction, financial services, home building, real estate, and academic success. As the elected Mayor of Dallas from 2007 to 2011, Tom pursued a strong education and economic growth agenda.
