Mythbusting: how a brain scientist uses social media for good

About the talk

Meet the neuroscientist with 1M followers on social media, and hear about some of the most common brain health myths he has dispelled, drawing from the latest science. Ben is a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University and a prolific science communicator on social media.
In his current research, he is exploring the neural basis of empathy and how drugs such as MDMA act in the brain to enhance social connection. Outside of the lab, he creates educational science videos for an audience of more than 900,000 followers on TikTok, Instagram, and BiliBili.
