About the talk

Learned Excellence brings the mental disciplines, principles, and tactics of high performance together into a clear and practical guidebook. We are all performers, at work, at school, at home, and at life. Across any field, Learned Excellence provides the roadmap for each of us to perform at our very best in every aspect of our lives.
Eric Potterat, Ph.D. is a high performance, sport and clinical psychologist and a retired U.S. Navy Commander, who during his last 10 years in the Navy served as the psychologist for the U.S. Navy SEALS. As their head psychologist, he was responsible for the mental assessment, selection, development, maintenance and enhancement programs for the Nation’s best warriors and highest performers. He is also credited for developing and implementing the mental toughness curriculum for the U.S. Navy SEALs and embedding it into their training pipeline.
