About the Talk
Dr. Perl is highly regarded for his work on various aspects of the neuropathology of age-related neurodegenerative disorders, especially the role of environmental factors in their induction. After joining theDepartment of Defense’s Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, he established a state-of-the-art neuropathology laboratory dedicated to research on the acute and long-term effects of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and PTSD among military personnel.
