Mindfulness-Cognitive Training Study

Can you improve your memory by playing games and meditating?

Older adults are at risk of cognitive decline. This study investigates the effectiveness of our combined mindfulness mediation and cognitive training program designed to mitigate the detrimental effects of aging on the brain and cognition.

Who is Eligible?

  • Right-handed adults

  • 65-85 year-olds

  • Learned English before age 5

  • Currently not on medication for the treatment of mental illness

  • No history of head injury, brain surgery or major cardiovascular disease

What is involved?

Participation includes cognitive assessments and MRI scanning before and after an 8-week long at-home intervention using our training game and a guided mediation program. You will be compensated for your time and effort!
